Crimspace – new social network

Sage publishing are sponsoring a new social network called Crimspace : http://www.crimspace.com/  The social network is aimed at students and researchers of criminology, criminal justice and forensics. It aims to bring together interested parties where they can discuss and share information on their topic areas. The service is aiming to be multi-media and already includes a number of videos and podcasts and they encourage you to add your own as part of your personal profile. The site is still quite new, so you can see that it hasn’t fully taken off yet. The only downside of the site for me was the fact that lots of things at the moment lead back to publications by Sage e.g. links to where you can purchase some of their books, though the site does offer some book chapters and articles for free.
