BL deal with Google Books

The British Library have done a deal with Google Books to digitise 250,00 items.  Further details can be found at: http://www.ringgold.com/UKSG/si_pd.cfm?AC=0920&Pid=10&Zid=6284&issueno=248

This will widen up access to these materials and save some academics from having to make costly visits to the British Library.  I hope the libraries involved with these Google partnerships can get usage data to prove their worth in these times of funding cut-backs.
